The easiest way I have found to clean up itunes (in my opinion) is *delete* and *add back*. From that post:
After you're done deleting music, go to iTunes and clear the entire library (without trashing the associated files). Then just "Add to Library" the folders where your music resides.
Raymond Gayle, who I know, has a great interview on Code Z about his movie Electric Purgatory. From the article:
